Terms of Service

Last updated: August 24, 2026

These terms cover your use of Podify — the service that turns your YouTube channel into a searchable set of pages. By creating an account, you agree to them.

The short version

  • You get 14 days free, with no card. After that you pick a plan or your hub stops taking new episodes — nothing is deleted.
  • You can cancel any time, and keep access until the period you paid for runs out.
  • Your first payment is refundable in full for 14 days.
  • We only ever touch your channel's public content. We change nothing on YouTube.
  • You can delete your account, and your data, at any time.

Who we are

Podify is operated by Cristian Filimon, trading as Amaze Labs (NZBN 9429053396341), New Zealand, at Unit G06, 1 Potiki Place, Glen Innes, Auckland 1072, New Zealand. You can reach us at privacy@podifyapp.co, which is a monitored inbox and the right address for anything on this page.

Payments are a separate contract: paid plans are sold through Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, so your purchase receipt and card statement name them, not us. Their terms govern the payment itself; these terms govern the service you are paying for.

Your account

You sign up with Google or with an email and password. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. One account owns one workspace ("tenant") at a time — there is no shared or team access today.

You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. Podify is not designed for children and we don't knowingly create accounts for them; if you tell us an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete its data.

What Podify does with your channel

You connect a YouTube channel you own or are authorized to publish from. We read its public catalog and captions to build episode pages and search on a public hub at a URL of your choosing. We don't modify your YouTube channel, your video files, or your existing website — everything we build lives on Podify.

Plans and billing

The free trial

New accounts start with a 14-day trial on the Starter plan — up to 50 episodes and 20 hours of Enhanced transcription, no card required.

The 14 days start when your first episode finishes transcribing, not when you sign up. If no episode is ever transcribed, trial access ends 30 days after signup. Each YouTube channel is eligible for a single trial.

When the 14 days are up, your hub stays online and readable at its address, but it stops accepting new episodes, stops pulling new uploads, and is removed from search engines until you choose a paid plan.

We then hold what the trial indexed for 7 more days. If you have not started a plan by then, the episodes indexed during the trial are deleted, along with their transcripts, topics and search index. We email you the exact date when the trial ends, and again the day before. Your channel, its settings and its branding are not deleted — you can process the archive again on any paid plan. Start a plan before the date and nothing is deleted at all.

The paid plans

There are 3 self-serve tiers, sized by how many episodes your catalog holds. An account connects one channel, on the trial and on every paid plan alike.

  • Starter — up to 50 episodes, $29/month or $290/year
  • Growth — up to 250 episodes, $49/month or $490/year
  • Pro — up to 500 episodes, $99/month or $990/year

Larger catalogs are handled as Enterprise, arranged directly with us rather than self-serve.

How you pay

Paid tiers are billed on a recurring subscription through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment collection, taxes, and card storage directly — we never see your card number. Prices are in US dollars, and any tax that applies where you live is added at checkout.

Enhanced transcription is included at no extra cost from the Starter plan up, and it is part of the trial too. A custom domain for your public hub is included from the Starter plan up, on a paid plan only — it is the one inclusion the free trial does not carry. Neither bills separately.

You can cancel at any time: "Manage subscription" in your account settings opens the Lemon Squeezy customer portal, where you can cancel or change your plan. Cancellation stops future billing and keeps your access until the period you already paid for runs out. Separately, your first payment is refundable in full for 14 days — our Refund Policy covers how to claim one and what renewals do.

If we change the price of a plan, the new price never applies to a period you have already paid for. We will email you at least 30 days before it affects a renewal, and cancelling before that renewal date means you are never charged the new price.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account from your account settings at any time. This immediately and irreversibly removes your workspace — channel, videos, transcripts, uploaded images, and your plan and subscription details — and cancels any active subscription. There is no recovery after deletion. A few things are kept on purpose: our billing payment records, which we're required to retain for accounting and tax purposes; any channel preview you submitted on our homepage before signing up, which is stored outside the account; a note instructing our payment provider to cancel a paid subscription, which is what makes that cancellation happen; a note that your YouTube channel has already used its free trial, so deleting the account does not entitle the same channel to another one; and your email address if it ever hard-bounced or was reported as spam, so we don't keep mailing an address that can't receive it. Our Privacy Policy covers what happens to each of them.

Content you're responsible for

You're responsible for having the rights to publish the channel content you connect, and for anything you upload (banner and avatar images). We may remove content or suspend an account that infringes someone else's rights or violates these terms.

What you may not do

Podify is a subscription for your own channel. So, while using it, please don't:

  • connect a channel you neither own nor have permission to publish from;
  • resell, sublicense, or share your account access with people outside your own organisation;
  • scrape, bulk-download, or automate against Podify outside the features we offer — including harvesting other tenants' hubs;
  • reverse engineer the service, or try to reach data belonging to another account;
  • use Podify to publish unlawful material, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
  • deliberately overload the service, or interfere with anyone else's use of it.

If an account does one of these, we may suspend it. Except where the problem is urgent or unlawful, we'll tell you what happened first and give you a chance to fix it. Suspension pauses access; it does not delete your data, and you can still export or delete your account yourself.

Copyright complaints

Podify republishes material from YouTube channels, so a rights holder needs a way to reach us. If something on a Podify hub infringes your copyright, email privacy@podifyapp.co with the page address, what the material is, and confirmation that you hold the right or act for whoever does. We aim to respond within 5 business days, and we remove or disable material we find infringing. We also close the accounts of repeat infringers.

Service "as is"

Podify is provided on an "as is" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

If you buy as a consumer, this does not take away the protections of the law where you live. Any mandatory right you have there — including a statutory right to cancel or to a remedy — applies regardless of this section, and where it reaches further than these terms, it wins.

Before anything formal, please email us. Almost everything is faster to fix that way.

The rest of the fine print

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the whole agreement between us about Podify. If a court finds one part unenforceable, the rest still stands. If we don't enforce something immediately, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later. You can't transfer your account to someone else without asking us; we may transfer this agreement if the business changes hands, and we'll tell you if that happens.

Changes to these terms

If we materially change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
